When I think of an artist I admired growing up and still admire today, Selena Gomez comes to mind. (For reference, I watched Wizards of Waverly Place so much that my dad could recite every word of the theme song and, without fail, I’d gush during that one epic part of Another Cinderella Story where she and Drew Seeley made up dance moves while getting household chores done.) Selena is open about her mental health, keeps it real on social media, and incorporates fitness into her life consistently – give her trainer’s full-body workout a try. She’s also on my list of fierce female musicians who make me extra excited to get my sweat on at the gym.
